As a child we are tought certain things by our parents, teachers, television influencial iconic figures and the society we live in. Depending on your upbringing or social position, these views and beliefs can be altered and naturally swayed over the course of your life. The world is a big place, filled with various cultures and religions and if you've ever traveled or consider yourself to be socially concious, your brain could have absorbed a wide array of knowlege that can depict your standpoint on certain personal beliefs you may have.

I was born to what the world would call, a "religious woman." However, as I grew and learned the difference from what the 'world' calls something and what may naturally be, I found that at least for myself, the closer we feel we are to the TRUTH, the further infact we actually are. I'm sure you've heard of the demi-goded Greek culture's various gods and goddesses and other stories that strike our imagination. Our infatuation with the after life possibility, depictions of Heaven and Hell and Hollywood's interpretation of the ongoing fight between good and evil (remember Constantine)? All of the stories, books and movies undoubtedly affect our viewpoints in some way or another. After all, the people behind them are human and it takes imagination to strike imagination. However, lest you know the 'real' truth, your mind may wonder in search of it.

What have YOU been taught about Lucifer? I was taught he was thehighest archangel in heaven that wanted to take over God’s throne. He was the leader of music, as instruments were built into his very being. I was taught that he caused a war in heaven and was cast out with a third of the angels with him. When he and his angels fell to earth, he became the Devil or Satan. This must have happened before Adam and Eve were created, as Lucifer was also the Serpent that deceived them in the Garden of Eden.

When I read somewhere that some people don’t believe Lucifer is Satan, I set out to prove he is. How? By studying the Bible, like I do whenever I have a question (or when someone else has a question I wish to knowledgably answer). You might be surprised at what I found out. It does not appear that what I was taught is correct.
